Celebs Threatening to Leave the U.S. If Donald Trump Becomes President

It's been an extremely long and stressful election season. And it seems the closer we get to Election Day on Nov. 8, the more heated and bizarre things have become for presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. While the country is clearly divided, an overwhelming majority of celebrities (Scott Baio and Stephen Baldwin excluded) have thrown their support behind Clinton. Some have gone so far as to say they will flee the U.S. if Trump is elected president. Here are the celebs Hollywood might say goodbye to should the former star of Celebrity Apprentice take over the White House.

Though the she didn't say exactly where she would go, Cyrus was adamant that she would be packing her bags should Trump become president in an emotional Instagram post

"Honestly f*** this s*** I am moving if this is my president! I don't say things I don't mean!"

2. Samuel L. Jackson

The Hateful Eight star has been pretty vocal about his disdain for Donald Trump, telling the Hollywood Reporter that Trump’s campaign is based on hate. During a skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jackson cracked, "If that motherf***er becomes president, I'm moving my black ass to South Africa.”

3. Jon Stewart

Stewart is no longer host of The Daily Show, but he still has plenty to say about Trump! Should he be elected, Stewart told People magazine, "I would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet's gone bonkers." Well, they did say there are plans to colonize Mars soon…

4. Cher

Also joining Stewart in outer space? Cher. She's roasted Trump a lot on Twitter since he announced his intent to take office, but it wasn't until a fan shared a plan to flee to Australia that the “If I Could Turn Back Time” singer revealed where she’s planning to relocate in the event the real estate tycoon becomes president. "IF HE WERE TO BE ELECTED, I'M MOVING TO JUPITER," she tweeted:

But if you’re going to move, why not pick a beautiful country with a temperate climate and delicious food? As the Power star told The Wrap, “I’ll move from Denver to Italy… If Donald Trump wins the presidency, I’m out.”

4. Amy Schumer

During a recent standup appearance in Florida, Schumer watched as approximately 200 fans walked out of her show after she was critical of Trump. Clearly, she's not a fan of the Donald and told BBC Newsnight earlier this year that she plans to hightail it to Europe if Trump wins. “I will need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain or somewhere," she said. "It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s too crazy."
