Buhari sacks five directors, Said they were illegally recruited
Taking after reports of unlawful enlistment practice into the federal civil service, the federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has given his approval to the expulsion of five Directors at the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD).
The five chiefs, whose characters were yet to be unveiled by the Head of the Service of the Federation, Wilfred Ekanem Oyo-Ita, were sacked with prompt impact.
Every one of them five were supposedly appointed during the administration of former President, Goodluck Jonathan in contradiction to one of the public service rules: One that has to do with their age as at the time of their enlistment.
They were discovered guilty of employment irregularities after examination.
In the interim, other staff of the parastatal responsible for Nigeria's Pension were redeployed to the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.
